The Feathered Nest, situated in eclectic Cambridge, MA, encompases two different properties:

  * Sometimes a private studio or 1 bedroom apartment can be made available for two people sharing one bed. For information on this, and any other situation please email Jean for rates, information, and availability.
  ** All properties offered for rent are for the use of the person renting the room only. It is not acceptable to bring in friends, family, or outside guests, the property is for the use of the people renting the rooms only. This helps to preserve the safety and integrity of the house.

Both homes offer a cozy, welcoming home away from home for the single traveler.

General Information:

The house at 85 Pearl Street has three bedrooms upstairs as well as one at the garden level. Full kitchen and eating area on the first floor with sliding glass doors leading out to a large deck, a common living room with a television and radio/CD, and a common den on the second floor.

At this time we are serving the single traveler only. If you are planning on having family or friends during your stay at my home please address that with me now as not all that I offer is appropriate for two people in the space.

Payment Methods

At this time payments are only accepted in two ways:

1. Cash
2. American Express Travellers Cheques

Rate Notes:

Rate includes all taxes and surcharges, TV, Cable, Wi-Fi, and utilities. prices are subject to change and dependent on the season, term, and availability.

Guests & Pets

The Feathered Nest is a non-smoking home that does not accommodate pets. Guests are allowed to use all of the facilities and socialize with other guests but may not bring in outside guests, including family members.

Parking

Parking in cambridge on the street is available by permit only. Off-street parking can be provided for an additional charge at both locations ($25.00 per day, short term only).

Check-in, Check-out

Check-in after 2:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM. Sorry, but no exceptions can be made without prior arrangements with Jean LoPresti. During certain holidays and graduations rates may be subject to change without notice. A minimum length of stay may also be required during these peak times.
